WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that people are doing the best that they can in their lives. As psychologists, our job is to help people to use what they already know, plus whatever we can discover together, to live more fully, happily and with an enhanced capacity to accomplish their own goals.
We also believe that people are social beings. We are all individuals, and yet we also live our lives entirely within complex, interlocking networks of relationships and communities. More and more, research is showing that having satisfying relationships with others relates not only to our psychological well-being and satisfaction, but also to our physical health, resilience and the health of our close relationships. Even those who have lacked a sufficiently nurturing social or familial environment can still learn to find or create such nurturance in their lives.
For this reason, we are dedicated to helping people to enhance their social, couple and family relationships.
